[8] Sending us your video

If your video is high resolution (in other words, you recorded it on one of the high-quality recording settings), then you will NOT be able to attach it to an email. (By the way, your video *should* be high-resolution / high-quality recording setting.)

Therefore, you will need to share your video with us using a file-sharing service.

Choose any of the following:

Dropbox method:

  1. Install Dropbox. This is how you will share your videos with us. You will need to create your own Dropbox account (this is free to do)
    • Get your own Dropbox account.
    • Install Dropbox.
      • Install the Dropbox application on your computer and/or smartphone (iPhone and Android devices are supported). You can install it on every device you own, there is no limitation. Instructions are here:
  2. Upload your video.
    • Place your newly recorded video file(s) into your Dropbox.
  3. Share the file(s) with us.
  4. Let us know.
    • Email us to let us know you’ve submitted the file. We will check to make sure we’ve received the link to the file.

Problems uploading?

UPLOAD SPEED:

First, make sure you’re on wifi and not a cellular data connection. Video files are large! It will take a long time to upload any video file using any method, but if you use data / cell connection instead of wifi, it will take even longer (and use your data plan as well). Instead, find a high-speed connection – either wifi or wired (desktop computer) to upload your file.

FILE SHARING SERVICES:

If you’re having problems with Dropbox, we will accept any alternative file sharing service that you are comfortable with, as long as your video files are downloadable, since we will need to review them and possibly edit them for you. Here are some alternative services:
